New and Improved Urban Dead Map
« on: July 16, 2006, 06:58:35 PM »
I made a new map for Urban Dead.  It include arrows on the suburb map views to navigate to surrounding suburbs without having to go back to the city view, and alternate image for the worldview map, and an option to show Free Running lanes.

The link is thus: http://redrum.soul-fantasy.net/map.php

Credits: Original Map Design can be found here and here.
Kyle The Feared gave tips and pointers.
I did the bloody code.

Enjoy! And tell me what you think. ^^

I like it!  I hate having to go back to the suburb map on the old one.  Clicking on those arrows is great!   :toot:

The map kicks ass. I especially like the freerunning lanes view. Nice job.

I would totally mod you, if you weren't already a mod for the insane genius!  Now just talk to dude who makes the UDToolbar and get him to refer to that map instead... and you got yourself a wiener!

I'd rather use Safari for surfing, but I'll have to bite the bullet and use Firefox. Ugh.

Piece of trash. Can't wait until I get 10.3 on Tues.

Tried it in Firefox. Looks fucking sweet.

You mean Kyle The Feared?  He already is.

I'd like it to be cross-browser compatable, so if you can find the proper way to do tables in safari, I'd much appreciate it.

Fantastic job - Thanks mucho, Sirens!  It will make difficult free run navigating a heck of a lot easier.

*bows*  Update:  I recently flipped a few things around.  Free Running Lanes should now work in browsers that don't support the aoppacity tag I was using, as I stopped using that.  It looks a little akward in Opera, but not bad, and I don't know about Safar.  Works fine in Iexplore, Firefox, and Netscape.

Also, when using "Find Location" or "Route Finder", once you have your result, there's a link called "Get Link", which loads a clean link to that result in the address bar.

This map is awesome.

It works perfectly fine on Safari 2.0.4 and with WebKit on MacOS 10.4.

So this is probably a problem with Safari 1.
